Beautiful Trip to Bad Reichenhall
A tour to the well maintained spa- and salt works town, situated in Bavaria , where the spa, the pedestrian precinct, numerous shops and the Café-house "Reber" await you.
Bad Reichenhall which lies on the "Salach" river with its 55 gushing wells, is often called well-city or
"bath of the kings”.
Salt - the white gold once justified prosperity and the reputation of the region because at that time its value was equivalent to gold. And, when in 1848, King Max II. refreshed himself here during the summer months, the town became famous as an elegant therapeutic spa resort within the world of the fashionable and distinguished.
Old salt works:
Duration, approx. 2 hours. An industrial monument of European rank is the "old salt works" built under King Ludwig I. Let yourself be fascinated by the impressive history of the "white gold"

In the "Bad Reichenhaller" local history museum – you will find evidence of the earliest settlements in the history of Saalach-valley.

Predigtstuhlbahn
Duration approx.4 h. The "Predigtstuhlbahn" is the oldest, originally preserved cable car in Germany (1.7.1928) - a genuine cable car for nostalgia enthusiasts. As in the old days the machinist ensures that the guests complete the ride safely in an amazing 8.5 minutes, a 1,150 m height difference to the 1,614 m high "Predigtstuhl". First ascent - 9:00 last return 17:00 .
